Christmas In The City

There is nothing better than the Christmas Season as far as I am concerned. It is especially fun watching it through the eyes of two 6 year olds. This past weekend we surprised the girls with a trip to the city. We went to the Symphony, then out for a nice dinner and then we got to spend the night in a hotel. The girls were thrilled and had smiles from ear to ear from the minute we got there until we came home. They both took it all in. Kit was very tired after our early dinner in part to her 5:00 am wake up that morning. Lucy could have gone all night!!!  It was fun taking a day off from the hustle and bustle and actually enjoying some time together!  Rich planned the weekend and the girls were both surprised and thrilled. When we were driving home on Sunday Lucy said, "You sure do have a nice husband Mom!" I couldn't agree more!

I polished the girls nails and dried their hair before we left home!

All dressed up and ready to go!

Entering the lobby of the hotel!

When we got to the room Lucy took my camera and snapped pictures of Kit

Kindergarten Christmas Program

The girls had their Christmas Program at school this week. They have been practicing hard, memorizing songs and singing loud and proud. They learned about The Nativity and the first Christmas.  Lucy was a camel and Kit was a sheep. I was lucky enough to get to dress the class. One Kindergartner was cuter than the next. They were all so excited and so sweet.  The program was adorable and I know the teachers put lots of time and effort into it. I loved every minute as did the girls!!  Hard to believe it is two days until Christmas!!
