7 Stitches-No Tears!

What happens when you are a little girl and you decide to chase the cute boys on the sport court? You fall down, hit your chin and have to get 7 stitches! That's what happened at school today! I told Luct that cute boys will always make you do crazy things:) Lucy was the perfect patient! We went to the ER she drew pictures for the nurses and doctors. When it was time for her stitches she lied perfectly still on the bed and did not wimper a bit while the Doctor stitched up her little chin! When she was finished the doctor told her she won, "The Best Patient of The Day Award". That made my competitive girls day!! She then told the doctor that she won "The Best Doctor of The Day Award". We got in the car and she fell fast asleep!

We are one step closer to meeting sweet Kit!! We received our Travel Approval and our Consulate Appointment!! It looks like we will be leaving for China on
November 3rd and hopefully meeting Kit on November 7th. All of the details should be finalized by next week! I am busy getting Kit's room ready and getting things in order prior to leaving. I can't believe that we will see Kit in less than a month. I can't tell you how excited and happy we are! Now we just need to pack our bags and purses:) and be on our way!

Thanks for the adorable purses Aunt Ann

Pumpkins, Pumpkins, Pumpkins!

We have been enjoying unseasonably warm weather here as of late. This past weekend the temperature was in the mid 80's! Lucy and I decided we had to get outside. Last week I noticed a pumpkin patch at one of the neighborhood churches. Lucy and I pulled the wagon up to the pumpkin patch and then she went pumpkin crazy! She could not get enough pumpkins. If she had her druthers we would have brought home every pumpkin in the patch! She filled the wagon to the brim (it would have been more full had I not removed some pumpkins when she wasn't looking). We pulled the wagon home and finally decorated the house for fall!

By The Way - We went to a pumpkin patch party on the exact same Saturday last year. It was snowing and 22 degrees - what a difference a year makes!

Frost on the pumpkins

82 degrees and sunny!

Look at all of these pumpkins!

This one looks good!

I can't get enough!

I need a little help with this one!

Happy Fall!!!!
