A Visit with Santa

We took Lucy to see Santa this evening. She wasn't quite sure about him. While we were waiting in line she kept saying scary and no lap. Meaning she didn't want to sit on his lap. When we got a bit closer Santa waved to Lucy and she waved back. She actually did sit on his lap but we never got a smile. She liked the candy cane he gave her when it was all over. We went out for a bite to eat when we finished our visit and she was all smiles. She fell asleep on the way home after an exciting visit with Santa.

Who is this guy?
I'm not so sure about this

Yummy!

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!!!!

Our First Measurable Snowfall

We had our first measurable snowfall today- and boy was Lucy excited! We went outside and had a so much fun! Lucy could have stayed outside all day! She learned a few things while we were outside.

  • She learned that if she clapped her hands the snow would come off of her gloves

  • She learned that when you pack the snow together it really does make a snowball

  • She learned that your hands get cold after throwing lots of snow

  • She learned that I would laugh everytime she threw a snowball at me. (She really liked making me laugh).

I'm not a fan of cold weather, winter or the snow. What I learned today is that I can love anything when I'm doing it with my sweet Lucy!!!!!

Hope you are all staying warm!!!

Do we have to go inside Mommy?

"Oh My" - It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas at our house. We put the tree up this weekend along with all of the decorations. How fun it is having a two year old! Lucy loves it all. Every time she sees the tree she says, "Oh my!" When she went to bed tonight she said, "Goodnight big tree" and proceeded to blow a kiss to the Christmas tree! Hope you are all enjoying the holiday season!
