From Charleston we made our way to the beach where we met up with my family. We had a large group this year - 41 in total. I am one of nine children so we never have a small gathering. All 24 of Lucy's cousins were there - the oldest cousin is 14 and the youngest is 22 months old. Needless to say there was never a dull moment - or a quiet one:). Lucy loved spending time with all of her cousins. Each one of them was so sweet and they all took turns playing with her. She especially loved helping out with the babies - she is crazy about babies just like her mom. She also loved the beach - we went every day. She loved playing in the sand and the water. She was never at a loss for someone to play with or for someone to hold her or swing her in the air. She loved chasing the kids at night and sharing lots of treats with them.
We had a great trip and enjoyed being with everyone. Since we've returned home our house seems awfully quiet. Lucy keeps looking around for her cousins, her aunts and uncles and especially Mimi and Pa Pa. Oh well she will have to settle for her Mom and Dad right now. We can't wait to go back next year. Until then I will enjoy the memories and all of the pictures. Hope you all had a great weekend!
I didn't post a fraction of the pictures that I took - but I certainly didn't want any of Lucy's cousins to think they didn't make it on her blog - so the following are pictures of all of her sweet cousins.
