Happy New Year!!! We are just catching up here after a long time away. We enjoyed our trip to St. Louis as well as our visit to Grandma W's! We packed a lot into a 2 week period! We visited with family and friends and Lucy got to see all 26 of her cousins and both of her Grandmas and her Grandpa!!! We enjoyed a great time away! Lucy was a real trooper in the car (we spent a lot of time in the car :) She had a great time with everyone. We came home took down all of the decorations and are now ready to start the new year! We have lots to do as we have sold our house and are moving in three weeks! Eekkkk I need to get off of the computer and get back to organizing!!! Hope you all enjoyed a wonderful Holiday and are off to a great New Year!

Lucy's Christmas Show
Last night Lucy had her school Christmas show. It was the first "show" she was ever in. All day she was looking forward to it and singing her songs for me. When we got to school I dropped her off in her classroom and went to the cafeteria to find a good seat (which I really didn't). Aunt Maggie, Conor and Molly came to cheer her on. We were all awaiting her arrival. I couldn't spot her in her class until I looked at the back of the line - there she was wearing her big crown and sobbing quite hard while holding her teacher's hand. She made her way to the stage her face covered in crocodile tears. I felt so sorry for her. She continued to cry until her sweet cousins ran up close to the stage and called her name so she could see them. She then spotted me holding the video camera and waving and she got a little better. By the end of the segment she was singing along with her classmates. When I asked why she was so sad she told me that she couldn't see me on stage. I guess I should have explained I was in the audience. The night ended on a happy note at The Malt Shop with Molly and Conor!

Our Morning Ritual
Every morning when Lucy wakes up she asks, "Is it time to go to the calendar?". She is referring to her Advent calendar that she just loves. She searches for the day of the drawer that she needs to open. Once she opens the drawer she always gets a big grin on her face and shows me what ornament goes on her little tree. I must say I love watching her face every morning when she opens the days drawer. Not sure what we are going to have to look forward to in the morning once Advent is over:)

It's Beginning To Look A lot Like Christmas!!!!
We have put up the tree, decorated the house, wrapped the gifts, sent out cards, visited Santa and the list goes on and on! Lucy is so excited for Christmas! She loves the lights, the trees and everything else that comes with the season. She sings," Santa Claus is coming to Town" at least 10 times a day. She keeps her "list" for Santa in her purse and pulls it out every time she thinks of something new to add to it! We are enjoying the season and keeping quite busy! Hope you are all enjoying it as well!!!!
